Business Art Mentorship Mission Statement: BAM! empowers underserved and LGBTQ2SIA+ youth in Mesa County through free mentorship in entrepreneurship and the arts.
We create safe, welcoming spaces where youth ages 12–21 can express themselves, build real-world skills, and thrive—both as individuals and as creatives.
HOW IT WORKS
BAM! is a free business and art mentorship program for youth ages 12–21 in Mesa County.
Our programs are research backed, led by trained professional artists and entrepreneurs. At BAM! we create pathways with different outcomes for young people to become future leaders, artists and difference makers.
Our pathways and outcomes:
Identity, Belonging, and Connection: Art Club helps youth recognize their personal strengths, talents, and interests while creating a space for youth to build trusting relationships with artistic professionals.
Community and Relationships: All of our programs are rooted in community. Youth build relationships with their peers and mentors, ultimately leading in increased confidence and social skills.
Leadership and Career Development: Youth connect with business leaders, participate in work study programs, and engage in developing proposals, coordinating events, and visiting worksites.
